Description

This role will strengthen our Insurance Product Delivery Management Team to drive end-to-end Insurance Product projects cooperating closely with our Product Strategy, Enablement, Finance, IT, Compliance and Sales / Account management partners.

Owner for the end-to-end Insurance Product delivery from initiation through the whole life cycle; ensuring Specialty Insurance Products are delivered successfully.

Partners with sales, product strategy, IT and finance leadership and to provide cost impact solutions and/or opportunities related to product design options.

Generates multiple solutions that address market needs based on an assessment of the situation / business needs.

Work closely with multi-disciplined teams of product managers/owners, IT architects, software engineers, and quality assurance/testing experts to drive estimates, delivery plans and retrospectives. Identify and manage engagement risks and flag serious issues early

Be accountable for product delivery in all aspects - financial, resourcing, implementation, as well as meeting regulatory requirements

Cooperate with, and influence your Insurance Product peers, IT delivery partners, technology consultants, and solution architects

Builds strategic relationships to support product delivery, including vendor and partner alliances.

Maintains a detailed understanding of pricing, client needs, market needs and sales positioning.

Assures performance results and expectations as related to the product/solution implementation and business model.

Required Qualifications

5-10 years of experience working in Product/ IT Delivery/Project Management

5 years' experience in Specialty / Ancillary Insurance domain

Hands-on experience delivering complex projects, managing internal and external stakeholders on all levels, and successfully driving IT/ Project engagements

Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Software Development Life Cycle, and experience with Agile delivery

Strong understanding various technologies, and industry best practices

Strong, proven management skills

Strong experience working with distributed teams in large organization

Excellent communication, presentation, and planning skills

Exceptional organizational, leadership and stakeholder management skills

Self-motivated, ability to multitask, reliable to deliver on time, quick-thinker, able to work in a fast-paced work environment
